GoalsMapper does not allow you to reuse any of your five most recent passwords.
This password history policy helps protect your account if an old password has previously been exposed, shared or compromised.
What should I do?
Create a new password that is different from your five most recently used passwords.
Your new password should:
- Be unique to GoalsMapper
- Not be a minor variation of your previous password
- Not be used for another website or application
- Be stored securely in a password manager
For example, simply adding a number or changing one character in your previous password may still be easy to guess. We recommend creating a completely different password.
Why am I seeing a password reuse error?
You may see this error when:
- Changing your password from your account settings
- Resetting a forgotten password
- Creating a new password after your account has been unlocked
- Attempting to use one of your five most recent passwords
Enter a different password and try again.
Can GoalsMapper Support allow me to reuse an old password?
No. GoalsMapper Support cannot override the password history policy.
You must choose a password that has not been used within your five most recent password changes.
Do Google sign-in and Passkeys follow this policy?
The password reuse policy applies only to your GoalsMapper email and password login.
It does not affect:
- Sign in with Google
- Passkey sign-in
Google passwords are managed by Google, while Passkeys use your device or password manager instead of a reusable password.
