Accounts may be temporarily locked after five unsuccessful password attempts and permanently locked after 20 unsuccessful attempts.
Follow these practices to reduce the risk of account lockouts.
Use Forgot Password instead of guessing
If you are unsure of your password, select Forgot Password rather than repeatedly attempting different passwords.
Update saved passwords
After changing your password, update it in:
- Your browser
- Your password manager
- Your phone
- Other devices used to access GoalsMapper
An outdated saved password may cause repeated unsuccessful login attempts.
Check your email address
Make sure you are using the email address registered to your GoalsMapper account.
Set up an alternative sign-in method
Where available, configure:
- A Passkey
- Sign in with Google
Alternative sign-in methods can help you access your account without entering a password.
Do not share your account
Each user should access GoalsMapper using their own account.
Sharing passwords can cause security issues, account lockouts and difficulty identifying unauthorised activity.
Protect your account
- Use a unique password.
- Do not reuse your GoalsMapper password on other websites.
- Do not share passwords or verification codes.
- Review your account’s login and security activity regularly.
- Sign out of all sessions if a device is lost.
- Contact Support immediately if you notice unfamiliar login activity.
