No, they do not need to pay the Executor and Trustee Appointment Fee again if their previous Will had already appointed Precepts Trustee Ltd as their executor and trustee.
However, a Will Review Administrative Fee of $109 (inclusive of GST) applies to the rewritten Will.
How does the payment work?
At present, when you rewrite their Will, they will need to make an initial payment of $272.50 (inclusive of GST), comprising:
- Executor and Trustee Appointment Fee
- Will Review Administrative Fee
Once we confirm that Precepts Trustee Ltd was previously appointed as the executor and trustee in their existing Will, we will refund the difference of $163.50.
Therefore, the final fee payable for the rewritten Will will be $109.
Note: The refund is processed after we verify that Precepts Trustee Ltd was previously appointed as the executor and trustee under the client's existing Will.
