The attestation disclaimer is required to protect all parties involved—especially the financial consultant, our service partner and GM Legacy—when using a self-service online will-writing platform. The financial consultant’s role is to facilitate the process and guide the client on what to indicate during the will creation journey.
The online Will clauses provided on the platform are pre-vetted by Precepts Trustee Ltd. to ensure they are professionally reviewed and suitable for standard Will-writing purposes.
As the platform is designed for self-service, the testator is responsible for reviewing and confirming that all information in the Will is accurate and complete before signing. The disclaimer serves as acknowledgement that they have read, understood, and approved the final document.
This helps ensure that if there are errors, ambiguities, or future disputes, liability does not fall on the consultant or platform provider, GM Legacy.
If the testator requires a more detailed or comprehensive Will, they may email us at legacy@goalsmapper.com to engage our service partner to draft a customised Will tailored to their needs.
