It may be because the time isn’t correctly synced on your Google Authenticator app.
To resolve this, you will need to ensure that your Google Authenticator app's time is synced correctly. Launch the app, tap the Menu button (three dots), and go to Settings > Time Correction for Codes > Sync now.
The sync will only affect the internal time of your Google Authenticator app, and will not change your device’s Date & Time settings.
