WhatsApp Business limitations
Due to WhatsApp Business regulations and limitations, you can only converse with your client in a 24 hour chat window. The reason behind this is to limit the amount of potential spam messages to consumers.
Inside the 24 hour chat window, you are able to type and chat freely with you clients.
Outside the 24 hour chat, you are only allowed to send Templated messages that are pre-approved by WhatsApp.
How do you initiate a 24 hour chat window?
This 24 hour chat window will only be opened when the Client replies.
- The 24 hour timer will then be refreshed each time the Clients replies.
- If the Client does not reply within the 24 hour chat window, then the chat window will be closed.
As such, you will need to initiate a conversation with your client using templated messages.
Limit to the amount of whatsapp messages
For an annual subscription of 1 year package, you will have a total of 15,000 credits
For monthly subscription package, you will have a total of 1,000 credits each month.
You have the option to top-up your message credits at $10 for every 1,000 credits.
Credit deduction:
For every templated message sent, 10 credits will be deducted.
For every free text message sent, 1 credit will be deducted.
