What is Personal Data?
Personal data refers to data about an individual who can be identified from that data, or from that data and other information to which the organisation has or is likely to have access.
Objectives of the PDPA
The PDPA recognises both the need to protect individuals’ data and the need of organisations to collect, use or disclose personal data for legitimate and reasonable purposes.
A data protection regime is necessary to safeguard personal data from misuse and to maintain individuals’ trust in organisations that manage their data.
Thankfully, our product team has worked hard to be at the forefront of these developments. We acknowledged the need for businesses to obtain PDPA consent and did not neglect the need to customise the PDPA messages if required. We are proud to announce our new PDPA Consent Message customisation.
How to customise the PDPA consent message?
Go to my account > Configurations > Planning tab to customise the message. Or you can click here.
